Vispak wants to buy remaining shares of Svjetlostkomerc

Vispak company announced offer to shareholders for full acquisition of Svjetlostkomerc Sarajevo company.

Vispak started the takeover of the Sarajevo company last year and has so far acquired 81.1 percent of the shares.

The bid announced Thursday refers to the remaining 3,191 shares, or about 18.9 percent of the ownership.

Vispak offers 510 KM per share, which means that if everyone accepts the bid, it will need about 1.6 million KM to pay the shareholders.

– The bidder intends to implement strategic development plan and increase market share, as well as to actively participate in improving the organization of business and results of the company. Together with management and employees of Svjetlostkomerc, bidder wants to work on improving business, further investing in the company, developing existing and new capacities, investing in equipment and increasing business efficiency in order to increase profit, the statement reads.

It adds that they will work on improving working conditions as well as know-how and skills, and opening new jobs.

Svjetlostkomerc Sarajevo is a leading BiH retailer specialized in sale of books, textbooks, school supplies, gift accessories and stationery.
