The world is going crazy for Pokémon GO, a new free augmented reality game that lets you capture virtual Pokémon hidden in real world locations, and Bosnia is no exception.

In the trams and on the streets of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina people can be seen turning their cell phones around and lifting them up and down, with the aim to fulfill the mission and catch Pokémon that is somewhere around.

An event where people will catch Pokemon will be organized in Sarajevo, in Parkusa café on Friday, July 15, starting at 5 p.m. and the organizers invited people to come in large numbers and have fun.

Another event will take place in Thermal Riviera Ilidza on Saturday, 23 July. from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Built as an augmented reality adventure, Pokémon GO is basically a real life treasure hunt and is designed to get players out of the house.

Running on a smartphone, GO will keep you notified of how far away a nearby Pokémon, rival trainer or group event is. Players can scan their surroundings while out and about and if they’re lucky, a wild Pokémon might pop up on their screen for them to grab. They can then throw a ‘Poke Ball’ at it in an attempt to capture the Pokémon and add it to their collection.
