The BiH furniture industry MS&WOOD's Elle collection has been listed in the “Best of Best” category at the International Furniture Fair in Cologne and, together with 30 different products from around the world, has become part of the official collection in this city's Art Gallery.
The highest rating “Best of Best” is given to only 30 of thousands of products, evaluated each year by a jury composed of the most eminent design and quality experts of the fair in Cologne.
“Repeating last year's success by winning again in two different categories of innovative furniture for a chair and a table at the International Fair in Cologne (IMM Cologne) was a success that has not happened in 100 years of the existence of the fair. However, by entering the Top 30 with the award ‘Best of Best’, of the most important furniture fair in the world, we have proved that we are on the throne of high quality furniture manufacturers. This is a great, perhaps so far the biggest success of BiH furniture industry, because wood is Bosnian, designers are from Bosnia and Herzegovina, artisans and managers are also from Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Muhamed Pilav, CEO of MS&WOOD.
Chair and table from Elle collection was designed by Natasa Perkovic from Sarajevo.
To remind, MS&WOOD were last year awarded the same prizes for a chair and a table from the Primum collection 2016, designed by Ado Avdagic. The international success achieved last year at the fair in Cologne was followed by the inclusion of the award-winning collection in the Triennale of Art and Design in Milan.
