Amusement Park Sunnyland has opened in Zlatiste above Sarajevo, and the main attraction in the park is an adrenaline alpine coaster.
– The idea was to create a project that will help us to have a better quality of life. More than 700 people were engaged in the implementation of the project. It directly created jobs for 70 people. We expect the number of employees to grow with the expansion of the offer in Sunnyland – said the director of Dubos Consulting Mirza Karic at a press conference.
Board Member Meliha Hadzic said that, in addition to the alpine roller coaster, Sunnyland consists of playroom for children, mini cinema and mini disco, as well as restaurants and walking trails.
– The value of the investment is over 15 million KM (7.5 million Euros) so far. The main contractor is company HMI Engineering, and the complex is designed by Bosnian architect Kenan Hadzovic. German company WIEGAND delivered alpine coaster – Hadzic said.
One of the investors, HH Sheikh Mohammed Alqassimi from United Arab Emirates, expressed his satisfaction for having the opportunity to invest in the project that will enable children to have better and more modern facilities.
He hopes that, with Sunnyland and other similar projects, BiH will get place on the tourist map of the world it deserves. Construction of the park began earlier this year.
