Bosnia's industrial output grew by an annual 3.1% in 2017, official figures show. The stats office did not provide comparative data, but earlier released statistics report industrial output growth of 4.3% in 2016. In December alone, Bosnia's industrial output dropped by an annual 0.6%, after increasing by 4.9% in November, according to figures posted on the website of Bosnia's statistical agency. Bosnia’s second-biggest power utility ERS issued a tender on Tuesday seeking consultants to advise it on developing a 48 megawatt (MW) wind park to help the Balkan country diversify its energy sources and cut greenhouse gas emissions. The Hrgud wind park in Berkovici, southeastern Bosnia, will comprise 16 wind turbines with a capacity of 3 megawatts (MW) each.
