Trnovo will get a bottled water plant by May 1, the Mayor Dragomir Gagovic confirmed for BiznisInfo.
The company Ruding from Istocno Sarajevo, which has received a water use concession, will invest nearly two million KM in the plant and open 20 jobs. Construction of the building has already begun. Work on the ground has been completed and the frame of the hall should be set in the coming days. This will be followed by the installation of machines and equipment.
In the first stage, the factory will only produce bottled water. Most of it is intended for export, in the beginning to Arab countries, while some will be found in the Bosnian market.
Deliveries to foreign markets have already been agreed.
“Registration of the company in Trnovo is currently in progress, and the municipality will provide all the necessary support for the investment to be realized in time and for the factory to start operating in May, to ensure that contracted deliveries do not come into question,” Gagovic said.
He added that this investment would mean a lot for Trnovo Municipality because there is no other water production plant in this area.
