The metal constructions made by the company Metaling in Jajce are installed in some of the most beautiful buildings in Europe, such as the Bordeaux stadium in France, the Intesa Sanpaolo Bank headquarters, the Olympic Bridge and the railway station in Torino, Italy, the Museum in Lion, the new Airbus plant in Paris, and the Milan office building.
These jobs were made in a consortium with European companies.
– 60 people are working for us in Europe, and now we will increase this number by another 25 because we have a project in Denmark. We are building a big bridge in Copenhagen. We have been doing business in Copenhagen for six years, because made constructions for the metro, where 27,000 tons of iron is installed – the owner of the Metaling, Pile Dujic, said.
There will be new jobs soon in Switzerland and Slovenia, where they will work on production plants.
Dujic spent 25 years in Italy, after which he returned to Bosnia and started a private business in Jajce. The company Metaling was founded in 2006 in the bankrupt Elektrobosna company.
Metaling deals with the production and installation of steel structures. 90 skilled workers are engaged in this work in Bosnia, on the most sophisticated equipment. They have two halls covering 11,000 square meters on an area of 26,000 square meters, and equipment for production and assembly.
